Something Altered

After the holidays, I happen to be at Hobby Lobby just looking around.  I usually don't do the after Christmas sales, but something caught my eye.  It was a unfinished frame.  It was 80% off, so I thought I couldn't pass it up.  I painted the front and edges of the frame, but that's how it sat for more than 6 weeks.  I had a general idea of what I wanted to do to it, but it sat on my desk, untouched.  This past weekend, I finally decided to finish it.  I used Martha Stewart Border Punches and the frame and text and corner flourish was cut using the Gazelle.  It features one of my favorite photos from the holidays, my daughter and her two little girls.    It now sits proudly on the end table in my living room!

Thanks for looking.

Koala-t hugs,

Cathy
