Acrylic Album-Finally Something to Keep!

I've had these acrylic pages for an album for more than a year.  My daughter gave it to me for Christmas 07 and just now have completed it.  I've made several acrylic albums for gifts and to sell at craft fairs, but never for me.   I was waiting for the "perfect" photos to put in it, but thought, I can make more, so what am I waiting for??  I have so many great pictures of my two granddaughters and have been creating layouts for each of their scrapbooks, but this one is of the two of them together.

Although working with acrylic is very different than using cardstock, I love making acrylic albums.  There is a certain look to them that I really enjoy.  They are more time consuming, but it is a great deal of fun to make.

A little about the album - I stamped images on the acrylic using  Staz On ink and Fancy Pants acrylic stamps, and one Stampin Up Jumbo wheel stamp.  Then, I created photo mats, corners backgrounds and some borders using the Cricut.  Used Martha Stewart border punches on several pages.  For the text, I used the Gazelle.

I'm very happy with the results, but the best part is, I get to keep it and display it in my home!  I will certainly be making more of these in the near future!

Thanks for looking....

Koala-t hugs,

Cathy
