Saturday, May 2, was National Scrapbook Day. To celebrate this day, Robin, at The Pink Stamper blog held challenges and giveaways all day. I felt I needed a little challenging, so I decided to join the fun. In the process, I found how S - L - O - W I am. Inspite of that, I did have fun and completed many projects. I will post them by Challenge Number.
Challenge Number 1 Use the color Brown with any pastel.
This one was easy for me, since one of my latest color combos is pink and brown. I had this card created in my Cricut Design Studio software and decided to try it out with this color combo.
To create the card, I used Opposites Attract for the letters, George for the rectangle shapes to form the card, and the shift/silhouette flower shape. THe card was cut in brown, , extra flowers cut in two shades of pink and attached to the base flowers with tiny brads. The background of the card is pale pink cardstock unfortunately the color got washed out in the photo( embossed with the Sizzix embossing folder. A length of ribbon and its ready for Mother's day!
Thanks for looking....stay tuned for more Challenges!
Koala-t hugs,
Cathy
