Lyrical Letters is the title of one of Provo Craft's latest cartridges for the Cricut. When I first saw information about it on line, I was not sure I wanted it. Sure, it had several fonts, but did I really need more font cartridges? Then someone posted the "extras" on this cartridge....and who doesn't like EXTRAS??? It has many titles and greetings perfect for cards. I was able to get it at Michael's last Cartridge sale for a great price, but had to wait, as they were out of stock and I was given a rain check. It finally came in last week and as soon as I brought it home, I had to make something with it. I create these cards using this very versatile cartridge!
I love the pink and green combination! I used DCWV Nana's Kids mat stack, white cardstock cut into marquee shape using Accent Essentials cartridge, embossed with Dots and Diamonds embossing folder from Quickutz, Happy B-day cut using Lyrical Letters with the Cricut Expression. A bit of Stickles to outline the bow.
Not only does this cartridge have lots of card greetings, it has beautiful designs to be used as backgrounds. I cut this one using adhesive backed mat stack from Autumn Leaves, background paper is also from this stack. Scalloped circle cut with the Gazelle, and Happy Birthday stamp from Katie & Co.
A variation of the first card, black and teal another of my favorite color combos! I used the Marquee cut from Accent Essentials cartridge, embossed with Diamonds and Dots Quickutz folder, scalloped circles cut on the Gazelle and Happy B-day cut using Lyrical letters. Glitz Stickles, color Mermaid, outline the bow.
This card was cut using Wild Cards, scalloped circles cut using the Gazelle, Best Wishes cut using Lyrical Letters on my Cricut and flower is Petalloo. Ribbon is woven into the scallops.
Hope you are having a great weekend...the unofficial start to summer! YEAH!!!
Thanks for stopping by and thank you to all who post!
Koala-t hugs,
Cathy
