Summer is a great time for ice cream! Its a great way to cool off during hot and humid summer weather. One of my favorite ice cream flavors is Black Cherry. Well, I like any ice cream that has cherries....New York Cherry, Black Cherry Vanilla, Cherry Chocolate Chunk....if its got Cherries, its my favorite!
When I started coloring the artwork for this card (BTW, is another selection from Mom's sketches) I used a Copic color called Pale Cherry Pink (R11) for the ice cream. I used Copic color Garnet (R39) for the bits in the ice cream, perfect for Black Cherries! The Core'dinations Chocolate Box paper for the background, embossed with Cuttlebug folder D'vine Swirls is a perfect compliment for the ice cream! The scalloped ovals were cut using the Gazelle, and greeting cut with the Cricut and Wild Cards cartridge.
Drat, now I have a taste for ice cream!
