Bazzill "In Stitch'z" Cards

During a recent trip to Archivers, I found the In Stitch'z templates from Bazzill.  I was curious about these, so I decided to try a set.  Since I'm a long time seamstress, I wanted to see how I could use these in my paper crafts.  I LOVE THEM!  One of my favorite things to do in making cards is using the white on white theme.  On the first card, I used the In Stitch'z template on white cardstock, and stitched with white embroidery floss (Its always great to use supplies I already had on hand!)  I paired this with white cardstock embossed with D'vine swirls with the Cuttlebug.  The smaller rectangle is embossed with Swiss dots, scalloped circle cut on the Gazelle, smaller layers matted with black card stock.  I added tiny jewels to the stitched flourish to complete the look.  A friend of mine needed an engagement card and I showed this as a sample, so I'll be adding names to the blank circle to personalize the card.

This card was very easy.  Stitched pink floss on green cardstock, used a border embossing folder for the pink  and the butterflies is from DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies mat stack.  Happy Birthday was cut using the Cricut and Wild Cards cartridge.

Not too early to start on Mother's Day cards!  Used In Stitch'z template, black embroidery floss stitched on white cardstock, paired with Cuttlebug embossing folder Textile on white cardstock.  Ovals cut with the Gazelle, pink pearl hearts and Studio G mini stamp for greeting.

I enjoy making cards, and especially enjoy when the person receiving the card enjoys them!

Enjoy the rest of your sunday...its been gray and rainy here.  Sure wish it would warm up!

Koala-t hugs,

Cathy
